Question
There is a setting called "Max Grade Transition" in Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance, what does it mean?
Answer
It is a setting that allows to expand the selection area of the TIN for the construction surface (TIN data) by increasing the value of the maximum grade, instead of setting the selection of the target surface in detail. (It makes easier to set the compass settings for the construction surface.)
On the other hand, by decreasing the maximum grade value, a detailed construction surface (TIN) can be selected.
Explanation
- The smaller the maximum grade transition, the less likely other adjacent surfaces will be selected.
- The larger the maximum grade transition, the more likely other adjacent surfaces will be selected at once.
e.g., If the maximum grade change is set to 3%, then faces within 3% can be selected at once.
