Issue
Error message "Localization Error" is displayed in SC Pilot APP.
Cause
- Insufficient reference points for localization.
- Check the reference points for localization. At least four localization points are required. If less than four points, add localization point.
- Too large residual error (0.1m or more).
- Check the residual error in the pilot app. Review and edit the localization data.
- Wrong coordinate type.
- Check the coordinate type used in the localization. Verify that you are not using localization data from another distant jobsite.
Action/How to deal
Follow the procedures below to check localization details:
- Insufficient reference points for localization.
Check the reference points for localization. Tap Menu button(1) > Tap Project File(2) > Tap Edit Button(3) > Tap Edit Button(4) > Tap Localization Tab(5) > Check if localization points is equal to four or more points in the list(6), add if necessary > Then, tap check button(7).
- Too large residual error (0.1m or more).
Check that horizontal and vertical residual error is not 0.1m or more in list (6). To edit control point data, tap Edit button(8) > Edit points data(9) > Tap Save Button(10).
- Wrong coordinate type.
Check the coordinate type used in the localization. Verify that you are not using localization data from another distant jobsite.
To verify localization data, tap Edit Button(8), check NEZ data(9) if it is within the jobsite area.
