1. Controller Firmware Update Feature

💡

You can now update the controller firmware from the Pilot app.

Controller firmware updates that previously required the dedicated app "SMART CONSTRUCTION Pilot UPD" can now be performed from the Pilot app.

There are two ways to update the controller firmware, and automatic update is enabled by default.
From v1.0.14 onward, the app automatically updates the controller to the latest firmware at app startup.

• Automatic update: Checks the controller firmware version at app startup and updates it automatically. (Default)
• Manual update: Update from System Management > Controller Firmware Update screen.

Important Notes

• Do not close the app, turn off the machine key (power off the controller), or disconnect communication while the controller firmware is updating.
• An internet connection is required, as the firmware file is downloaded from the server.

2. Improved Destination Navigation

💡

The navigation-to-destination feature has been improved.

Previously you could navigate to a destination from the mini-map on the Machine Guidance screen. The mini-map has been removed, and you can now set a destination (control point, survey point, or any location) directly from the side panel and navigate to it.

• Turning ON "Navigation Mode" in the application settings displays the button on the side panel. (Default: OFF)

3. Other updates and fixes

• [Machine Guidance (for the new controller)] The new controller has only a single GNSS receiver and no sub-GNSS receiver, so the corresponding items are now hidden.
• [Machine Guidance] Improved and fixed the processing of the front and side views on the Machine Guidance screen, enhancing performance.
• [Machine Guidance] Fixed incorrect swing setting parameter values (PC88MR).
• [Machine Guidance] Fixed an issue where the compass used to confirm the rotation direction during swing/offset sensor calibration did not work while a GNSS ERROR was occurring.
• [Machine Guidance] Fixed an issue where the blade edge coordinates could not be obtained during blade edge position measurement when a pressure sensor error was occurring.
• [Machine Guidance] Fixed an issue where, when two or more project files were sent to a single machine from SC Pilot Web, only one file was actually received although a completion dialog was displayed.
• [Machine Guidance] Added an ON/OFF toggle for the ICT option activation setting under Admin Settings > Admin Guidance Settings (default: OFF). When set to ON, the ICT option is displayed in the controller settings.
• [Remote View] Fixed an issue where the Pilot app password entry screen appeared completely black when remotely viewing a device running the Pilot app from SC Pilot Web.
