How to recover when controller replacement

Issue

How to quickly restore the controller in the event of a failure or when installing another controller on another machine.



 

Answer

If calibration files have been saved in SMART CONSTRUCTION Pilot (WEB),
import the 【"1" Calibration File】 to the tablet's Download folder and set it after replacing the controller. Then it can be used quickly.

Procedure

1. Open SMART CONSTRUCTION Pilot (WEB) in advance, select the failed machine, click 【"1" Calibration Information】, and download the file.
It is recommended to download the data with the latest date.
* If there is no backup data, this recovery method cannot be used, and calibration will be required again.

Download the calibration files
 

1）. Open SMART CONSTRUCTION Pilot Web and click the 【"1" Machine】 icon. 

2） Search by the serial number of the machine or controller for which you want to check the setting information, and click the 【"1" Construction Machine】 shown in the search results.

3） Select Calibration and download the calibration file with the latest date.

 

2. Download the calibration file to the tablet's Download folder. After replacing the controller and reconfiguring the Wi-Fi router and the new controller, connect the tablet via the Wi-Fi router and set the calibration file.

Import the calibration files

Connect the tablet with a USB cable.
For USB connection, please select "Transfer".
Please use a USB device that is capable of transferring data.

Set up the calibration files

1)  Start the 3DMG application and tap the menu icon (gear icon) in the upper left.

2)  Tap Administrator Settings and select "Machine Calibration".

3)  Tap "Restore Machine Calibration" and tap the file download button.

* Be sure to specify the download folder on the tablet.

4） Tap and select the calibration file imported in advance. After confirming that it has been imported, tap the check mark.
This completes the restoration process.
