Quick Manual: Polyline Creation Function

This function allows you to create a polyline from points measured at the bucket tip or from entered coordinate values. The created polyline can be used in features such as generating a design surface from linework and in the steer indicator function.

【Attention】This function is available in tablet app version 1.0.12 or later. If you are using an older version, please update the app.

1.1 Create Polyline

There are two ways to create a new polyline: you can access this function either from the standard menu or from the shortcut menu. 

From a shortcut menu: 

1. Launch Machine Guidance Screen 

2. Tap “Side panel” 

3. Tap       to add a new polylin

From Project File:

1. Launch Machine Guidance Screen

2. Menu Project File

3. Tap  of the project where you want to add a new polyline

Enter the layer name, then add the start point and the points for the polyline. When all points have been added, the check button at the bottom of the screen will become active. 

Adding linework to existing layers in a project is not supported. Existing linework in a project cannot be edited. Polylines created can only be used on the tablet where they were created.

For creating a polyline using two or more points, please tap at the bottom of the screen to add points.

Be careful: going back with the return button before creating the polyline will discard all entered information.

Tap the check button will display a dialog asking you to confirm the creation of the polyline.

Then, a dialog will ask if you want to create a design surface from the polyline. Tap to proceed with creating the design surface.

After transitioning to the design surface creation screen, the created polyline will be selected.

To edit a created polyline, follow the steps below to open the polyline layer editing screen.

2. Tap of the project where you want to edit

3. Tap of the layer where you want to edit
