Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on how to check if the machine is facing the design surface.
Using the compass display, you can ensure that you are facing the surface to be constructed.
Procedures and Explanation
Function Display Settings
1. Select 【"1"Guidance Settings】 from the menu and tap 【"2" Application Settings.】
2. From the Application Settings menu, turn on 【"3"the Compass, Grade Indicator, and Operation Indicator.
When turned on they will be displayed.
The compass cannot be used immediately just setting.
Select a design surface for utilize the compass
3. Tap 【"1"the target surface button】, select and check the range of TIN data you wish to face.
4. 【"1"The compass】will be displayed on the top of the screen and allows you to check whether you are facing the selected surface or not.
Supplementation
Compass Angle Adjustment and Sound Settings
・【”1"The orthogonal angle (max. 30°) of the compass】 can be adjusted (to narrow or widen the angle of the compass).
It is also possible to set 【”2"the sound】 to be emitted when the cutting edge is within the range shown in the illustration.
*Maximum volume depends on the performance of the each tablet device.
Supplementation
・Adjustment to TIN range
Before selecting a range, tap 【”1"Targat Surface Settings】 icon to change 【”2"the value of the max grade】 transition.
The larger the value, the more TIN data will be grouped.
For curves with many change points, it is recommended to reduce the input value.
