Creating a Surface from a Polyline

Create an in-field, design surface from an existing polyline within a project file, directly from the cab. The polyline requires elevation data for proper surface creation.
 

1. From the main screen, select the top of the two side arrows and select Create Surface (Note: Surface menu can also be accessed through the following: from the main screen, select Menu, select Project File, select Edit on the project, and select Create Surface). 

2. Select Line Work and then select the Next Arrow 

3. Enter name of surface, move the cursor around the jobsite to select the target polyline (zoom in and use arrows to make selection easier), enter desired width and vertical offset of target surface, and select the Checkmark 

4. Select the Checkmark to set as active design surface
