Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on how to create simple data such as planes and slopes using points acquired with the cutting edge of a machine within a tablet.
By using the data created in the tablet, 3D data can be used without prior preparation.
Procedures and Explanation
1. Select 【"1"the gear mark】 and choose 【”2”Project File】.
1) If you are already using a project
Click 【"1"the Edit button】 of the currently selected project to move to the 【"2"Project Settings】.
2) If you are not using a project yet
Click on the 【"1"+button】 to move to the "Project Settings".
【"2"Set the coordinate system】 so that the position of the 3DMG machine can be recognized and move to the 【"3"Create Simple Design Surface】 display.
2.Select a design type from the menu
・【"1”Flat Plane】 Infinite plane data of uniform height.
・2Point Sloping Plane Slope data measured at two points and extended.
・3Point Sloping Plane Slope data measured at 3 points and extended on the created plane.
3. Set 【"1"Layer Name】 and acquire points at the cutting edge or directly input them (can be edited).
A plane is created based on the Z value entered at the point.
4. Design data of the created height is reflected on the tablets.
Supplementation
Coordinate system setting method (projection)
If there is no localization data required to calculate the self-position of machine, it is possible to use projection for construction.
