How to check the status of GNSS information

Introduction

This article provides a detailed explanation on how to check the status of GNSS information acquired by 3DMG machine.
By checking the status, you can confirm the number of satellites to be acquired, the distance and delay to the base station that receives the correction information, and so on.

Procedures and Explanation

1. Tap 【"1"GNSS FIX】 on the guidance screen.

2.Check the current status
Number of captured satellites: You can heck the number of satellites to be acquired.
*If the number of satellites is not displayed, it is necessary to update the version of the controller/application to the latest version.

Supplementation

Vertical/Horizontal RMS
・A value that displays the vertical and horizontal stability of position information; the smaller the value, the more stable the accuracy.　

PDOP
・An indicator of GNSS satellite positional accuracy. The lower the PDOP value, the better the positional accuracy.

Age Of Corrections
・The speed at which correction information is received. The closer to 0 seconds, the more real-time correction information is received.

Baseline Length From Virtual Ref Point
・The distance to the base station from which the correction information is received.
