How to manage the amount of soil to be hauled and the loading

Introduction

This article provides a detailed explanation on how to set up the machine equipped Retrofit for the job site manager to manage the operator's loading and hauling dump trucks.
By displaying and managing weights, it is possible to load dump trucks according to their capacity.
*Smart Construction Fleet is required to link machine with the dump truck list.

Procedures and Explanation

Select or create a site (Smart Construction Fleet)
1. After launching Smart Construction Fleet for dump list and payload linkage, select or create a project site.

1) Creating a new site
Click 【”1"Add New Site】 to 【"2"Create New】 (project).
*The list will show the sites that have been invited or created by other members of the company.


Creating a dump list
1. Access the jobsite where you want to create a dump list, and set the construction period and daily usage time in 【"2"Site editing】 from 【"1"the menu button】.


2. Select 【"2"Vehicle List】 from 【”1"the menu button】, choose a driver, and click 【"3”New register】.

3. Select the type and standard of dump truck in the registration, and enter the name to be displayed on the web and app screen.
Set the curb weight (kg), Load capacity (kg), and Medium soil volume load (m3) for each dump truck, and then register them.
*Registration can be made in bulk from the CSV data format specified in the application.

Connection settings of payload construction machine (WEB)

1. Select 【"2"Excavator with payload meter】 from 【”1"the menu button】, 【"3"set the connection period】, and connect the payload construction machine you own to the Web application.

1）Click "Select own Const. Mach", check 【"1"Excavator】, and select a 【"2"registered payload construction machine】 from the list.

2) To create a 【"2"new machine】, click 【"1"Create New】 and enter the model name, type, and serial of the machine, select "Hydraulic Excavator" for the "Type", "ICT" for the "Machine Control?", set the "Purchase Date", and click "Apply".

*Please make sure that the input settings are correct

2. When the screen like the following is displayed after the settings are made, the connection configuration on the web side are complete.

Connection settings of payload construction machine (tablet)

After setting on the web, it is necessary to set the same machine number as the web setting on the application in the tablet.

*The construction machine at the jobsite and the construction machine on the tablet are used as access keys.

Supplementation

Acquisition cycle and search range
The system responds to the mobile terminal loaded on the dump truck and automatically changes the order of the dump list when the dump truck enters the search area.
The default cycle is once every 30 seconds.
The default search range is 100 meters.
